Following discussions with the Ministry of Ports and Aviation and the Department of Civil Aviation, SriLankan Airlines will be re-scheduling its flights to operate between 5am and 9pm to and from Colombo International Airport with immediate effect, until further notice. Full details of flights affected are published below.
SriLankan re-assures its customers that all their cargo will be 'shipped as booked'. Peter Hill, CEO said, "We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused to all our customers as a result of our decision not to operate into and out of Colombo International Airport between 9pm and 5am, however the safety of our passengers, crew and aircraft is our prime concern and one that we will not compromise on under any circumstances."
