- All documents should be cleared at the final carriers town office except
Diplomatic mail, Newspapers, Perishables, Radio-active materials and
Valuables could be retained at the airport upon the prior request and the
standing orders given by the consignee.
- Personal effects by consignee only at town Customs Bonded Warehouse.
- Consolidated shipments containing personal effects, should be cleared by the agent at the airport and arrange transfers to the Customs Bonded Warehouse in the City.
- Unclaimed cargo after 90 days transferred to Customs Bonded warehouse Colombo.
